At GraphAware, we’ve always valued security highly. Now, as we’re growing bigger, we feel the next step is to hire a fully dedicated IT Security Specialist. A person whose role will be to identify and assess risks related to IT and implement necessary measures which will enable the fast growth of GraphAware and help us in achieving ambitious goals.

You will help us to ensure availability and connectivity of the GraphAware people which is a critical element considering our strong international scope and presence. Securing connections from different places, set-up of devices and implementation of relevant softwares are some of the key activities in this area.

You will be responsible for IT threats identification, implementation and maintenance of our IT security systems, prevention of unauthorized access to our data, and responding to privacy breaches. This includes tasks such as installing and configuring security software to prevent cyber-attacks and responding to cyber-attacks with the right countermeasures. Critical activity is also educating employees on data security, monitoring, and protecting against breaches and design of relevant training.

The agenda does not stop there. You would be helping us with the hardware strategy, overall IT support but also obtaining relevant IT security certification which is a valuable piece also for our customers which are often large corporate entities paying attention to compliance of their suppliers and partners.

Here is the bullet point list of main responsibilities.

• Availability and Connectivity - Ensure working connection of people across the company, e.g. secure connection (offices, homes, public places), working devices and softwares
• IT Security - Identify the main threats and implement effective and efficient measures, e.g. access management, hardware and software strategy, password policy
• Security Advocacy and Training - Set up training and processes and educate people in the relevant topics, onboard new people
• Device Security - Your duties will include protecting system boundaries٫ keeping computer systems and network devices (laptops, routers, AP, printer, mobile..) hardened against attacks and keeping them up to date
• General IT support - Be a support and help for GraphAware people in IT area
• IT Security Certification - Implement relevant processes and steps and manage the process of obtaining relevant certifications

If you want to succeed, we believe you need to have the following skills/background:

• To perform and understand the technical aspects of the job
  • Previous experience in the field of information security (5+ years)
  • Strong technical knowledge in applicable areas (TCP/IP Networks, Backups, Programming, Cloud)
  • Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and technology
  • Ability to formulate security requirements and know how to engage individual departments in the process of implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing IT solutions, services or systems from a security perspective, including threat modelling

• Bonus skills
  • Experience with regulatory guidelines (SSAE16, NIST, NERC, ISO)
  • Knowledge in GDPR and other applicable privacy legislation
  • Related certifications (CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, CIPP, GSEC/GCIH/ GCIA, CEH v10..)
  • Proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, Node, Python, Ruby, Go or PowerShell
  • Advanced understanding of systems administration, storage technologies and virtualization
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or other relevant fields)
